The Kardashians opened a brand new DASH store on swanky Melrose Boulevard in West Hollywood late last week, and while plenty of attention was showered on Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, the real star of the day was…you guessed it: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
Kim K. and her sisters have managed to build an impressive empire, with several DASH stores in major cities like Miami, L.A. and of course, Hollywood. Each time a new store opens, it’s a huge event, drawing Kim Kardashian fans in droves (and the paparazzi, also in droves). For this big opening, Kim decided she wanted her man by her side.
Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian-Odom were the first to arrive, saving the true grand entrance for Kim Kardashian. And what an entrance it was: Kim pulled up with Kanye in her gorgeous black Rolls-Royce, looking every inch the mega-celebrity. As she gets out of her car, she’s mobbed — and so is Kanye. Fans started screaming almost immediately, and they didn’t stop until Kimye passed through the doors of the store.
Here’s the thing: If you’ve ever wondered how big celebrities wind up getting parking tickets, this is how it happens! When Kim pulled up outside the store, scores of paparazzi were swarming everywhere, so she parked where she could, close to the entrance. Unfortunately, she was in the red zone, so she wound up getting a ticket. Oh well — she’s good for it, right?
