Known for his legendary events, Diddy’s parties have always attracted top-tier celebrities, and the Kardashians have been regular attendees, but now their past association with Diddy is under scrutiny.
One of the most notable parties was Diddy’s 46th birthday bash in 2015, which drew stars such as Kris Jenner and her then-boyfriend Corey Gamble, along with Kourtney Kardashian. The event was described as a night full of lavish decorations and A-list guests. Kourtney Kardashian mingled with the likes of Justin Bieber, French Montana, and Quincy Brown, making the event a typical example of the glamorous life that surrounds the Kardashians. However, recent developments have cast a darker shadow over these star-studded gatherings. Diddy is now facing serious legal trouble, with charges ranging from racketeering to sex trafficking. Allegations that some of his parties, referred to as “freak offs,” involved questionable behavior have surfaced, with the Kardashians’ presence at these events leading to speculation about their involvement. According to a report from Irish Star, the Kardashians are in “panic mode,” distancing themselves from the scandal. A source close to the family revealed, “They had no idea what Diddy was up to after hours,” and are now working hard to avoid any connection to the infamous parties.
In a resurfaced 2014 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian recalled one of Diddy’s wild parties. Khloe went on to describe the event as one where she felt out of place but noted, “You would have loved it,” naming Justin Bieber as one of the other celebrities who made an appearance. Khloe humorously added, “I got on a plane at 5.30am. Well, this party… I think half the people there were butt naked.”
Adding fuel to the fire, Khloe and Kourtney once appeared on Kocktails with Khloe in 2016, where they reminisced about their many parties with Diddy. Khloe said, “When you think of a party or a good time, you think of Puff,” to which Diddy simply responded, “Yeah.” Their relationship with the rapper had always seemed innocent and based on the fun and glamorous lifestyle they shared. Now, however, their association with these events is being questioned in the media.
As the legal battle surrounding Diddy intensifies, his attorney Teny Geragos made it clear that simply being present at these events doesn’t imply criminal behavior. “A lifestyle and being present in activities doesn’t mean he committed a crime,” Geragos stated, emphasizing that Diddy’s parties, though wild, were consensual, and nothing illegal was taking place during the events. Nevertheless, Diddy faces multiple serious charges, including sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution, all of which he has denied.
For now, it remains to be seen how these legal troubles will unfold, but one thing is clear: the Kardashians will do whatever it takes to stay out of the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
