Ray J Says “I Hit it First” is Not About Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is right in the middle of her pregnancy and her divorce trial from Kris Humphries starts in a matter of weeks. She can now add Ray J. to the list of stressors, because her ex is out with a brand new song, one that some claim is very much about sex with Kim K. — and the sex tape that made her famous in the first place.

Ray J. announced his new single, “I Hit It First,” late last week, and ever since, speculation has run rampant that the song is about his relationship with Kim Kardashian. It seems pretty obvious what Ray J. is talking about when he sings:

She might move on to rappers and ballplayers/But we all know I hit it first…I had her head going North and her a** going South/But now baby chose to go West.

Good grief, Ray J. — what were you thinking?! And the album cover art is clearly a pixelated photo of Kim Kardashian showing off her ample assets in a bikini.

Guess what? Ray J. is doing a little damage control now. He claims “I Hit It First” is not about his relationship with Kim Kardashian. Yeah, right. In a recent interview, Ray J. said the song is “about a concept” and claims that everyone is “going way too deep” in interpreting it. He was also quick to add that not only is this not a diss to Kim K., he’s also “not trying to create no war.”

Again: Yeah, right. Here’s the thing, Ray J.: If you’re going to be bold enough to put out a song that is very, very clearly about your sex tape with Kim Kardashian, at least have the guts to stand by your decision. And expect some form of retribution coming your way at some point. It’s hard to imagine that Kim K.’s boyfriend (and baby daddy) Kanye West isn’t positively furious about all of this.

Scandalous tape appeared online in 2007 and made a splash, more information can be found on our website on a special page.
